Belt Filter Press: A Reliable Solution for Sludge Dewatering Applications

Working Principle

The sludge first enters a flocculation tank, where polymers are added to improve solid-liquid separation. The conditioned sludge then passes through the gravity drainage section, allowing free water to drain naturally.

Next, the sludge moves through wedge and pressure zones formed by two moving filter belts. As pressure gradually increases, additional water is squeezed out, resulting in a dewatered sludge cake.
